Salvation

Dear friend, have you ever personally responded to the invitation to receive Christ as your Saviour? Are you certain that you have the eternal life which the Bible promises to all who truly believe on Jesus?

If you are not sure that God has forgiven all of your sins, and that you will
spend eternity with Him, I invite you to believe God’s Word when it tells us that

“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He the right (or the power) to become children of God, even to
those who believe in His name: who were born, not of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Listen, too, to this promise from Romans 10:9

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”

If you desire to pray and receive Christ as your Saviour and Lord, here is a sample of what you might pray to God:

Dear Father, I know that I am a poor lost sinner who needs salvation. I ask that Jesus Christ will come into my heart and forgive all of my sins. I surrender my life to You, and ask you to save me and to be my own personal Saviour. I trust You, and believe that You will save me because You have promised to do so in Your Word.

Thank you, Lord Jesus. I claim You as my own Saviour and I will set out to live for You for the rest of my life.

Amen.
